MANTA BEER
Manta Beer is one of only 2 National Beers in New Caledonia. Hydrant was commissioned by Société Le Froid, creators of Manta Beer, to redesign the Manta Gold Beer can and create a campaign to launch the new product. The brief was to capture the Melanesian Spirit of Nouvelle Caledonie, bringing the brand more in-line with the cultural heritage of the islands. Hydrant Creative then went on to roll out INTENSE and CITRON versions of the beer.

Our experience and understanding of the South Pacific Region placed Hydrant perfectly to execute the rebrand of Manta Biere.
Understanding the local environment and capturing the fine balance that exists between connecting a brand with island culture is a challenge. With MANTA beer it was about using traditional Melanesian textures and illustration style to create an iconic and recognisable brand that feels at home in the islands.
